A classic piece every woman should include in her Summer Season wardrobe is a pair of White Skinny Jeans. White Jeans are a statement themselves so it leaves very little fuss when picking the right accessories and shoes to pair them with. White Jeans can be dressed up with wedges, or simply dressed down with classic nude flats. With pastels being seen just about everywhere, the color palette this Summer compliments White Jeans more than ever. Here is a quick DIY to transition your favorite fitting Winter Jeans into White Summer Must-Haves...
Supplies:
Typical Clorox Bleach
Measuring Cups (1 1/4 cups or 3/4 cups*)
Any color Denim
*If using a HE Washing Machine to Bleach Denim
Step 1-- First fill the container/sink you are using to bleach the Denim in, with warm-hot water. Add the 1 1/4 cups of Bleach to the water and mix immediately. The Clorox Bottle will typically say the ratio of water/Bleach.
**If you are using a Washing Machine simply put the Denim in a normal wash with the allotted Bleach.
Step 2-- Let the Jeans sit, mixing occasionally. I had to bleach mine twice to get the white-ness I desired. But the extra Bleach created the brightness I was looking for, so it was well worth it.
Step 3-- Wash Jeans in a normal wash with detergent to rid all excess Bleach, and help the "Bleach-y" smell fade. Either hang dry, or use dryer whichever you prefer.
Step 4-- Go out and rock your Summer White Jeans!
